Olympic Heights Swim Tryouts

 

 

Dates

  • Tryouts begin: Monday, August 17
  • Location: Boca Raton YMCA (All Season Except 8/3-9/4 we will be at Boca High)
  • Time: Immediately after school
  • Tryout schedule: Mon, Tues Tryouts, Wed-Fri Practice

Transportation

  • You must arrange your own ride to the YMCA after school.
  • Students may not ride with other students.
  • Drive safely—don't rush. Coaches understand it takes time to leave campus.

Eligibility

  • Your packet must be cleared before tryouts.
  • Students who are not cleared will not be allowed on the pool deck and will be sent home.

Arrival Instructions

  • Change into your swimsuit upon arrival.
  • Goal is to be stretched and in the pool before 3:30 PM.
  • Locker rooms:
    • Under 18: Boys' or girls' locker rooms (past desk to the left hallway)
    • 18 and older: Adult men's or women's locker rooms (past desk to the right hallway)
    • Have your ride pick you up by 4:30 PM.

Weather

  • South Florida weather can change quickly.
  • Coaches will try to announce cancellations as early as possible hopefully before we leave school.
  • Cancellation information will be posted:
    • On the team website
    • School Email
    • At school (Announced at end of last period)
    • Via the team text thread once teams are selected

  • Know your competition swimsuit size (numeric size, not S/M/L) email: [email protected]
